Last weekend saw us host the first-ever Transition Dealer Day as we welcomed Parker and Drew from Transition HQ in Bellingham, WA to the UK.
We invited all our UK Transition dealers to come party in the woods and were stoked to see around 30 of us get together for a day’s riding at the Forest of Dean. The conditions were all-time; bright sunshine, not a breath of wind and trails running absolutely prime all day long.
We split the large group in two to accommodate all skills and abilities; and headed up the hill for the first climb of the day. Whilst one group tackled the Forest of Dean’s famous tech lines, the other dropped into the flow trail dream that is Countdown into Launch Pad.
After a few runs and just as many hardcore climbs, we treated the crew to a solid burger at the Café, a chance for everyone to recharge and rehydrate ahead of Round 2 in the afternoon.
We had some rad bikes on display, spanning from V1 Patrols and custom Smuggler builds to the brand-new Spire and Alloy Patrol models. Perhaps the wisest bike choice of the day was the Spur, which proved incredibly efficient going up, and just perfect on the flow trails.
Parker and Drew, who were visiting the UK for the first time, were mind-blown with the quality of the trails and the setup at the Forest of Dean. “The perfect breeding ground for up-and-coming shredders”, they said.
