Last weekend, at London’s Olympic Park, Colnago returned to the track arena on the new T1Rs. This is the most aerodynamic bike Colnago have ever produced. It is the direct descendant of developments made for the TT1 (currently the fastest time trial bike in the WorldTour) and the aerodynamic research behind the Y1Rs (the fastest road bike in the WorldTour).
T1Rs is designed for both amateur and professional racers alike, available in two configurations.
Ultra narrow wheel spacing:
The frame features ultra narrow wheel spacing, 65mm front and 100mm rear. This enables an exceptionally narrow and aerodynamic Q-factor at the cranks.
Exceptional structural stiffness:
The extremely thin tube profiles are balanced by a sophisticated carbon layup and internal ribbing, making the T1Rs among the stiffest frames in its class.
Future proof design:
The use of ultra-thin tubes positioned close to the wheels anticipates the UCI regulations that will ban overly wide forks from 2027.
Competition-ready versatility:
Available in both pursuit and sprint/endurance configurations, allowing riders to adapt the bike to different disciplines.
