Vision proudly presents the Metron RS CeramicSpeed Silver Edition, a wheelset representing the highest technological expression of the RS platform, featuring CeramicSpeed bearings.

This version was born from the desire to further elevate the Metron RS (Racing Series), the wheel which represents Vision’s new era in the full carbon high performance wheel segment. To do so, Vision selected a partner that shares the same obsession for performance, technology and innovation in elite racing; CeramicSpeed.

For several years, Vision has celebrated its flagship models with a dedicated Silver Edition. In this case, given the existing cutting edge nature of the RS platform, they chose to introduce a true signature enhancement. The integration of CeramicSpeed bearings, handbuilt in Denmark, further enhance smoothness, efficiency, and power transfer.

The Metron RS Platform:

• Full carbon rim with an updated, optimized 2.3mm internal channel, designed for modern high performance 28mm+ tyres.

• New lightweight V-1000 hub with 72T PRS technology featuring a 5° engagement angle.

• Aero bladed carbon direct-pull spokes with 2:1 lacing pattern.

• Artisan built, entirely hand assembled.

• In mold graphics, integrated during lamination.

• Tubeless ready clincher.

• Centrelock disc rotor mount.

Each CeramicSpeed bearing is:

• Hand-built in Denmark.

• Equipped with ultra-smooth Grade 3 silicon nitride balls, precision matched with micron level tolerances.

• Paired with hardened steel raceways featuring ultra-polished grooves.

• Retained by a reinforced polyamide cage for stability under load.

• Optimized with CeramicSpeed All-Round Grease (low viscosity).

• Protected by non-contact seals, minimizing friction without compromising protection from dirt and moisture.

The result is exceptionally low friction, improved efficiency, more direct power transfer, and extended bearing life backed by a 4 year warranty.

Two sizes, 45mm and 60mm, one philosophy. Both versions are engineered for high performance road racing, delivering the ideal balance between aerodynamic efficiency, crosswind stability across varying yaw angles, and structural stiffness.

Weights 1290g/1390g per pair.
