Offering maximum lightness for limitless pedalling, it is subtle to wear and meets the category's highest safety standards. Weighing just 570 grams (size M), the helmet exceeds all international standards, namely CPSC 1203, CE EN1078, ASTM F1952-DH, ASTM 2032-BMX, and AS/NZ 2063.
Greater protection is provided by the polycarbonate outer shell, combined with a dual density EPS inner shell, mapped according to those areas of the skull that are most subjected and exposed to impacts. Robustness and rigidity are enhanced with an exclusive nylon exoskeleton inspired by the geometry of auxetic materials, which is embedded in the inner shell, starting from the EPS chinguard and extending across the cheek area. Its unmistakable structure allows for a continuous flow of air and helps contain the overall weight.
Safety is in every detail. The integrated MIPS® system reduces the possibility of dangerous rotational impact forces being transmitted to the head. The helmet is equipped with the NFC TwICEme system that allows for the faster transmission of personal and health information, allowing for dramatically reduced rescue times.
The desired ventilation is provided by 30 air vents: 22 on the central core and 8 rear extractors that guarantee a continuous flow and optimal heat exchange during every phase of activity, from the most extreme descents to the most intense pedalling and climbing. For a level of comfort that allows the rider to focus only on the path, riding without constraints due to the soft, anti-bacterial and anti-odour thermoformed lining.
Visibility is perfect on any route and in all conditions due to the wide field of vision, a chinguard design that improves the line of vision even in more technical sections, and the solid yet flexible, tilt-adjustable peak, which can be operated with one hand and with gloves on. The shell is designed to accommodate goggles when not being worn, and is fully compatible with models in the Dainese MTB Goggles Line. Fast and secure fastening is ensured by the Fidlock® magnetic system, which can also be operated while wearing gloves.

The Dainese Linea 01 MIPS full-face helmet offers an impressive level of safety in an ultra-light package and it’s in a league of its own in terms of comfort. The helmet is certified according to the ASTM-F1952-DH standard for downhill helmets but its safety features don’t stop there. It features both the NFC twICEme system, via which you can store personal medical data for rescue workers to access in the worst-case scenario, and the MIPS system to reduce rotational forces.
Thanks to ample ventilation and a weight of just 574 g in size M, the helmet always remains comfortable to wear. It has 30 strategically placed ventilation ports that don’t get covered up by your goggle strap, keeping it well ventilated whether you’re deathgripping the black trail in the blazing sun or pedalling back up.
The lining is made of environmentally friendly, antibacterial bamboo fibres, keeping unpleasant odours at bay.
