Vision Tech USA are proud to be launching the brand-new Metron 45SL and 60SL<\/strong> wheels at this year\u2019s Tour de France, with Vision sponsored teams EF Education-Nippo<\/strong> and Team Bahrain-Victorious<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two new major features in the peloton this year: the new Metron 45 SL Disc Wheels and Metron 60 SL Disc Wheels.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concept behind this project has been focused primarily on the aerodynamics. The Vision engineer\u2019s goal was to create the most aerodynamic and performance enhanced wheels in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE WHEELS IN DETAIL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wheels are disc brake compatible in both clincher \/ tubeless ready and tubular versions. The Metron 45 SL Disc<\/strong> (45mm rim width) are designed to tackle mainly hilly and mixed stages<\/strong>, while the Metron 60 SL Disc<\/strong> (60mm rim width) are designed for the flat stages<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE RIM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The internal channel of the CH \/ TLR version is 21mm, with an external shape that is optimized for a 28mm tire. This allows a sort of \u201ccompact and unique structure\u201d between the rim and the tire, thus improving aerodynamics. The rim is handmade with close attention paid to the overall look thanks to the super accurate lamination of the carbon that allows people to actually see the carbon. To achieve our ultimate goal of stiffness and minimal weight, we also inserted space-derived foam between the carbon layers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE HUB<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hubs feature the new Vision PRS technology, with a 72-tooth engagement system. This provides greater smoothness and a better grip gear angle. They are designed for the Centerlock system, while an adapter for 6-Bolt configuration will be available. They are available for SH11 (and 12) and XDR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SPOKES AND NIPPLES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The spokes are top of the range aero-bladed, double-butted in stainless steel, so therefore are rust-proof. Both the spokes and nipples are made in Italy, produced by a famous company that supplies parts for the automotive industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our new Metron 45 SL Disc and Metron 60 SL Disc wheels are something of a game-changer and for this reason we back them with a lifetime warranty to the original owner. We are sure they will perform for the riders of every level and from every corner of the world as a great weapon to reach their personal goals!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
