The V5Rs is the lightest Colnago ever built, with a ready-to-paint frame weighing just 685 grams. It’s 12.5% lighter than its predecessor, all while maintaining the same exceptional rigidity.
Thinner Profiles
Colnago’s experience with the Y1Rs enabled the refinement of the V5Rs, featuring slim, high-performance tube profiles. In wind tunnel testing, its aerodynamic performance closely rivals that of the top dedicated aero frames.
The frontal area of the V5Rs measures just 250 cm², a 13% reduction compared to its predecessor. This improvement, along with a narrower, re-engineered head tube, significantly reduces air resistance and helps conserve valuable watts.
